Porn Star Scarlett Scharleau was one of the unsung heroines of mid-'80s hardcore. A slightly overweight gal who sported some nice little boobs and a messy shock of blonde hair, Scarlett Scharleau looked more like a normal, everyday person than your average porno starlet. Of course, once the cameras started rolling, she'd show you just why she got into this line of work. Simply put, Scarlett Scharleau was a woman who loved sex in all its forms. Scarlett Scharleau was an East Coast gal who mainly starred in flicks shot in the New York area. She brought a no-nonsense approach to her roles that fit in well with the low-budget grinders that she usually found herself starring in. Scarlett Scharleau made her porn debut in 1984 and instantly won roles in a string of quickie videos. One of her best early performances can be found in 'Black Licorice,' where she starred and took on Marc Stevens and Jean Valjean in a gripping threeway finale. Scarlett Scharleau's main claim to fame was her incredible way with an oral scene. Scarlett Scharleau showed off some eye-popping deep throat skills in 'Flesh and Fantasy,' somehow managing to completely engulf Ron Jeremys' sizable muscle. Another great scene is Scarlett Scharleau's ravenous workout with Buddy Love in 'Sex Sounds.' What's probably her best performance ever can be found in 1986's 'Secret Mistress.' Scarlett Scharleau stars in a pair of pulse-pounding passion plays, first taking on Taija Rae in a heated lesbian scene. Later she joined up with Kristara Barrington and Robert Bullock for a frantic threesome that left all concerned utterly spent. Scarlett Scharleau left the scene in late 1988 after shooting almost forty features. She moved into fetish flicks for a short time, then slowly eased her way out of the business for good.
