Roger T. Pipe:  Good things I hope. How about we start with the basic stuff first....

Julie Rage:  sure!

Roger T. Pipe:  Where were you born?

Julie Rage:  Los Angeles, California.

Roger T. Pipe:  What's your birthday?

Julie Rage:  July 11.

Roger T. Pipe:  What year?

Julie Rage:  Come on Rog, you should know better than that. Never ask a lady that question.

Roger T. Pipe:  Fair enough. Where did you grow up?

Julie Rage:  Out your way.

Roger T. Pipe:  Orange County?

Julie Rage:  Yep, behind the orange curtain!

Roger T. Pipe:  What were you like growing up? Outgoing? Shy? Trouble?

Julie Rage:   Horribly shy, I was a total wallflower!

Roger T. Pipe:  Wow, that's pretty hard to believe. When did you start having sex?

Julie Rage:  The first time I explored with a women when I was a minor. My first time with a man, was a few years later. In a monogamouse relationship. I told you, I was shy back then.

Roger T. Pipe:   A far cry from how you are now.

Julie Rage:  Hey, I'm making up for lost time.

Roger T. Pipe:   So you grew up in OC, but you live in LA now?

Julie Rage:  Yes

Roger T. Pipe:   When did you make the move to LA?

Julie Rage:  I moved back when I got in the biz. The drive was just too much for me. Commuting sucks!

Roger T. Pipe:   So you made the move to do movies or was it modeling first?

Julie Rage:  I went to see Jim South with the intention of doing mags, but he liked my look and before I knew it, I was invited to do a movie with Alex Sanders. I decided to give it a try and found that I liked it better than mags.

Roger T. Pipe:   Do the folks back home know what you do?

Julie Rage:  Yes. My mother knows and now she can't watch Spice or Playboy any more.

Roger T. Pipe:   Why is that?

Julie Rage:   She loves me, I'm her baby.

Roger T. Pipe:   What were you doing before you got into videos?

Julie Rage:  I was in the Army, a combat-medic.

Roger T. Pipe:   When did you start in videos?

Julie Rage:  December of 1995

Roger T. Pipe:   What was the first movie you were in?

Julie Rage:  Viewpoint by Vivid.

Roger T. Pipe:   And that was with Alex Sanders?

Julie Rage:  No, that was the first one that got released. The scene with Alex never was released.

Roger T. Pipe:   Who was the Viewpoint scene with?

Julie Rage:  Michael J Cox.

Roger T. Pipe:   How was it? Were you nervous?

Julie Rage:  Oh yeah, I was horribly nervous.

Roger T. Pipe:   How many have you done in your two and a half years in the biz?

Julie Rage:  Over 200.

Roger T. Pipe:   200 movies in two and a half years?

Julie Rage:  Well, that's if you include compilations.

Roger T. Pipe:   Still, you've been a busy young lady. Any that you are particularly proud of? Ones readers should watch out for?

Julie Rage:  There are a few I am really proud of. Impact, the Craving, News Action, the Box, and my last, "THUNDER-PUSSY"

Roger T. Pipe:   Is that one out yet?

Julie Rage:  Not yet, but it will be soon.

Roger T. Pipe:   And who did that one?

Julie Rage:  Greg shot it for Elegant Angel. It's a gonzo tape and I'm really proud of the way it came out. Plus, it's my last video.

Roger T. Pipe:   Any favorite males to work with?

Julie Rage:  Herschell Savage is one of my faves.

Roger T. Pipe:   Females?

Julie Rage:  Ohh, there are so many. Tyce Bune and Sid Duece.

Roger T. Pipe:   Anyone you haven't worked with yet, but want to?

Julie Rage:  Yes, I always wanted to work with Anna Malle.

Roger T. Pipe:   Do you watch your own movies?

Julie Rage:  Yes, but mostly just the dialogue.

Roger T. Pipe:   What do you think of the adult movie business?

Julie Rage:  The biz has been very good to me, it was a very positive experience for me on a sexual level I was able to live out many of my fantasies and make some good money. And the bonus was I met Greg! I do believe that some of the people are not right for this biz though because they are too young or they take this "star" thing too seriously, or they don't plan for when they won't be able to do this anymore.If a performer has a good level head this can be a very positive experience.

Roger T. Pipe:   Do people recognize you now from your movies?

Julie Rage:  Yes, it's quite flattering. Due to the hard edged roles I usually play they expect to see me like that. They are pleasantly suprised to find me happy and very communicative.

Roger T. Pipe:   Well, that's a lot better than having you bite thier heads off.

Julie Rage:  I save that for reviewers who piss me off or keep trying to look up my skirt while they interview me.

Roger T. Pipe:   I'll keep that in mind. Any favorite thing to do on camera?

Julie Rage:  Acting, but i know you want to hear the sex aspects. I love cumming.

Roger T. Pipe:   Is there anything you won't do on camera?

Julie Rage:  Oh yeah. I won't do anal on a guy.

Roger T. Pipe:   How does your on screen personality reflect or differ from your real life?

Julie Rage:  It's the total opposite. I'm very down to earth in my personal life. Not nearly as over the top as my characters often are.

Roger T. Pipe:   That's kind of hard to believe. You are so agressive sexually on camera.

Julie Rage:  Oh, sexually? That's pretty much the same. Exactly the same according to Greg.

Roger T. Pipe:   Any unfulfilled fantasies?

Julie Rage:  Only one.

Julie Rage:  I want a 101 girls on me at once.

Roger T. Pipe:   I'm sure the line of volunteers would be a mile long. OK, I hear you have decided to call it quits and retire from the business. Is this true?

Julie Rage:  Yes, it's true.

Roger T. Pipe:   What was your final movie?

Roger T. Pipe:   What prompted this move?

Julie Rage:  While I was on the road in April and May 3 people in the industry tested positive for HIV. One was someone that I asked to work with on Thunder-Pussy, but they were not avalible that day.

Roger T. Pipe:   That has to be a little scary.

Julie Rage:  Tell me about it. Thank god for looking out for me. I ended up working with Tice that day. I took some time and though about the seriousness of what was happening. Even if I did all my scenes with a condom there would still be a risk. There would still be oral sex, and you can get HIV from oral even with a girl. I asked myself is it worth it? At this point in my life, it's just too big a risk for me to take. I have a lot to be happy about and live for, and I want to be around for a lot of years to enjoy what I have.

Roger T. Pipe:   There has been a move towards more condoms, even mandatory condoms in adult films.

Julie Rage:   If the fans really care about the performers they will support our choice to live by only buying tapes that practice safe sex. Ask your self is the fantsay of seeing non condom scenes worth the performers dying?

Roger T. Pipe:   What do you have planned now that you are out from in front of the camera?

Julie Rage:  I'm going to feature dance as long as I can. I love dancing and meeting the fans. After that I'm going to go back to college for my medical degree.

Roger T. Pipe:   We've touched on it a bit, but what are your feelings on the HIV situation in the industry?

Julie Rage:  It was bound to happen with all of the very unsafe sex activity (anal, fletching, facial pop shots). The sad part is we don't get control of it the health department will shut us down and adult will go under ground. The results will make it taboo again to watch porno...

Roger T. Pipe:   Do you think the industry is doing enough to protect and educate talent?

Julie Rage:  No, this is not the first or second time HIV has struck. The companies and performers say we are going condom only for a week or two, there it's back to business as usual until HIV strikes again. If the performers would stick together and make a stand to practice only safe sex, things might improve but they won't because this person or that person is offered x amount to do a scene without a condom.

Julie Rage:  I know you've heard this before, but I want someone who is loyal, gentle kindhearted, funny and down to earth. Oh yea and he must love good food and have a twisted sense of sexuality.
