John Douglas:  Hey everybody, it's John Douglas, back on the floor of the AEE, 2003. It wouldn't be a trip to the convention without a stop over to the Las Vegas Novelties booth. You know, the great thing about Las Vegas Novelties, if you are doing a porn cable show, you can pretty much stop right here, and get enough content to do like 2 or 3 shows, because they always have names, and are really press friendly. They got the products and everything. I'm probably giving away too many secrets to people are thinking about doing Talking Blue type shows, or clone shows, but this is the place to come to. It's like the lazy man way of doing the show. You stop right here, set up the camera, and do 20 interviews with all of the people they got working with LVNI now…and BAM…instant show! Instant series!

Jacklyn Lick:  It's true!

John Douglas:  It's amazing. All the stars that you have here. When you come walking in the convention hall, it's like, Oh my God, all these billboards!

Jacklyn Lick:  Las Vegas Novelties has made a hell of a presence at this show.

John Douglas:  And one of their first big names, Jacklyn Lick

Jacklyn Lick:   (Stretching to show her fine rack) Yup! That would be me. But my posters all got stolen outside. I had posters out there in the convention hall and they all got stolen. They put up replacements and THEY all got stolen too!

John Douglas:  I think that I would be flattered.

Jacklyn Lick:  That's what they keep telling me, but I'M PISSED!

John Douglas:  Yeah, you pissed, but that's what happens for the Batman movies when they put up the posters at the bus stop. They busted in and stolen.

Jacklyn Lick:  I guess so.

John Douglas:  So you gotta be flattered by that.

Jacklyn Lick:  What are you going to do, right?

John Douglas:  The Ron Jeremy ones aren't following anybody home.

Jacklyn Lick:  Well actually I think they are, were there any Ron Jeremy ones?

John Douglas:  Probably, I don't know.

Jacklyn Lick:  I think those were stolen yesterday.

John Douglas:  (Laughing) So how you been!

Jacklyn Lick:  I've been doing excellent, I've been doing awesome.

John Douglas:  Obviously you've been doing the Las Vegas Novelties stuff.

Jacklyn Lick:  Yes, I have some new Ron Jeremy greeting cards, that I'm actually on with Ron.

John Douglas:  You and Ronny at Christmas, those are cute!

Jacklyn Lick:  That was a Merry Christmas, this one is a Valentine's Day card.

John Douglas:  (Laughing) It's nice. It's got a nice big picture of Ronny's dick on a Valentine card.

Jacklyn Lick:  It's his dick and it says, "I got your bow and arrow right here!"

John Douglas:  (Laughing)

Jacklyn Lick:  And this is one that is cute…it says, "All I want for Christmas…" and that's my back of course.

John Douglas:  I was about to say, I can't see your face all that well there.

Jacklyn Lick:  That's my back…that's my butt.

John Douglas:  Yeah, I recognize that.

Jacklyn Lick:  You recognize that butt?

John Douglas:  I recognize that butt!

Jacklyn Lick:  It says, "All I want for Christmas…is my HoHoHo!"

John Douglas:   (Laughing)

Jacklyn Lick:  There are some pretty good ones.

John Douglas:  Speaking of Christmas. I just recently saw an episode of "The Man Show"…

Jacklyn Lick:  …oh, yeah…

John Douglas:  …that had you in it. In the hot Christmas outfit and everything. Moving into …well…one step above Talking Blue when it comes to Comedy Central. But still!

Jacklyn Lick:  That episode was actually shot like 3 years ago.

John Douglas:  Oh yeah.

Jacklyn Lick:  But it was the Christmas episode so every Christmas it gets re-aired again. And I still remember my monologue from that. I can still almost do it verbatim.

John Douglas:  It was a sexy one. It was really good.

Jacklyn Lick:  It was a fun one. It was very funny. I love The Man Show.

John Douglas:  Do you wanna do more stuff like that, more mainstream sort of stuff.

Jacklyn Lick:  You know, I don't aim to do it, but when it comes up, I really enjoy it. I'm not really about going out and auditioning and doing that whole rat race, but if they want me for something, I'm more than happy to do it. I love acting, it's a lot of fun.

John Douglas:  Now speaking of media outside the adult industry, you were part of this group on the internet…

Jacklyn Lick:  …yes…

John Douglas:  …some online radio thing…

Jacklyn Lick:  …right…

John Douglas:  …KSEX Radio. They kinda launched with you.

Jacklyn Lick:  Right. I was with them for two years.

John Douglas:  Then all of a sudden recently, BOOM, you're gone. What's the story there?

Jacklyn Lick:  Well, um, um…well according to the press release, my show sucks, so they got rid of me.

John Douglas:  I was gonna say, I got the press release, and it was worded in such a way, "It was sort of amicable" and all, but it was not to difficult to read between the lines, it didn't seem that friendly.

Jacklyn Lick:  Well, it was kind of unfortunate because, basically what happened, was I wasn't happy. I was feeling like I wasn't getting enough publicity for what I was doing, and I was working my ass off. And I had been there for two years, and I told some people I wasn't happy. And the rumor got back to the program manager and he sent me an e-mail. And the e-mail he sent me, I was in Australia, and it said, "Welcome Home!" was the title to the e-mail. And the e-mail was basically, Don't come back, Don't come to the studio. We'll box your stuff and send it to you. We don't want you to come in here and cause a big scene. It was very nasty. I was really stunned because, for one, I'm not that kind of person. If you don't want me around, hey, I'll go away. But they treated me like a criminal in the e-mail he sent me. So I was kinda like, I'm not that way, and I'm not gonna go around bashing people in the news, but I am gonna tell the truth.

John Douglas:  It wasn't a very friendly sounding thing, and the thing that blew me away was that I go to their website for their releases, but your section was the only thing that was different on there. Like, the one different concept.

Jacklyn Lick:  And the other thing is that if my show really sucked, and that was why they were firing me, why didn't they get rid of me two years ago?

John Douglas:  And then they took your concept still.

Jacklyn Lick:  Yes, they kept my name, Tails of Tale was the name I came up with. They kept it, they kept that concept. Which is fine, I really don't care.

John Douglas:  But they are treating you like a criminal, but they stole your name?

Jacklyn Lick:  Yeah.

John Douglas:  Gottcha.

Jacklyn Lick:  I didn't say it.

John Douglas:  Well I'll put two and two together.

Jacklyn Lick:  Basically, according to them, they fired me, but actually my trip to Australia was a time period where I was deciding if I was gonna leave or not. I was gonna quit before then, I had spoken to a couple of really close friends of mine and my therapist, I was like, I think I wanna leave. And they said, don't decide yet, wait till you get back from Australia. And then I got that nasty note while I was in Australia.

John Douglas:  Wow, just made a decision right there and then.

Jacklyn Lick:  Exactly, that's good though.

John Douglas:  You know, it's their loss.

Jacklyn Lick:  It is an amicable split. I really don't have any hard feelings towards them, I needed to leave, I am so busy with everything else I'm doing. It's really hard to run a radio show when, "OK, I'm here for two days" and then I'm gone. So that's difficult.

John Douglas:  You think you'll ever do something like that again?

Jacklyn Lick:  Oh yeah.

John Douglas:  Take a little time off.

Jacklyn Lick:  Maybe for a different company or something.

John Douglas:  That's cool, it was a cool show. A cool concept.

Jacklyn Lick:  Thank you!

John Douglas:  But I would wonder, how the hell is she doing this each week and working Las Vegas Novelties, doing the movies, doing TV appearances…

Jacklyn Lick:  Right.

John Douglas:  …and everything else. And your websites.

Jacklyn Lick:  Yeah, my websites.

John Douglas:  Exactly, plural. I think I have book marked for like 3 or 4 different websites you're involved with.

Jacklyn Lick:  Probably.

John Douglas:  So what's the story with them? So you just creating them and saying, "I'm bored" and then create another one. Or do you manage to spread your time out on all of them?

Jacklyn Lick:  I actually manage my own websites, but I did hire someone to update the sites weekly for me. But I'm the one that says, I want this setup on this specific date. I create all the content for all of my sites. And I do all the news and diaries and all that stuff. But I just didn't have time, like when I'm out of town, and an update didn't get done on a Friday, cause my updates are every Friday, so I hired somebody. So now I upload all the content at the beginning of the month, and edit it and everything and all that stuff, and tell them, this goes up this date, this goes up that date.

John Douglas:  And I've noticed on all your sites, they've gotten a lot more fetishy. As time goes by, woooo…she's gotten into more…

Jacklyn Lick:  Yeah!

John Douglas:  It's not like necessarily tits and ass.

Jacklyn Lick:  My JacklynLickdotcom site is a porn and bondage website. Which is different, like, most people just have bondage or just have porn, but I like to do the bondage. And I do the hardcore on that site. And then I have the other site, and before Jacklyn Lick had a lot of foot stuff on it, but I separated the two sites and just opened up, foot-goddess as a pay site.

John Douglas:  Oh, that's cool. I'm gonna have to add another bookmark now. So what are the other ones?

Jacklyn Lick:  I've got JacklynLickdotcom, I've got foot-goddessdotcom, bootgoddessdotcom, and I did have passionforpantyhosesdotcom but I'm not involved with that one anymore.

John Douglas:  You're not doing that one no more. Jeez, I can't imagine why, with all that spare time you got on your hands. That's amazing. So what else have you been doing with LVNI? I know that that really use you a lot.

Jacklyn Lick:  Use me is right! (Laughing)

John Douglas:  They aren't around to have heard that.

Jacklyn Lick:  No, they do, and I really love it because, I'm proud of the fact that I'm their second contract girl ever aside from Jewel D'Nyle. They put out new products on me this year, like the cards and another special vibrator. I also have the strap on out and the pulsator and the jelly dildos. And they send me to Australia a lot, they have sent me out twice in the last 4 or 5 months for them. I think I go back out again very soon.

John Douglas:  That's not a bad perk.

Jacklyn Lick:  It's not bad. And this next one they are even sending me by myself. They said, "OK Jacklyn, you're going to the bottom of the planet but we're sending you by yourself. You can handle it on your own, so go ahead. (Laughing) Go sell Jacklyn, go sell!

John Douglas:  Go peddle our stuff.

Jacklyn Lick:  No, I don't mind. I really love this company. I am so glad to be a part of it, they are really good to me. The products…I really, REALLY honestly believe in the products. They are so good, I mean, in fact, one of the products I love is the Christi Lake's Decathlon. It's not even my dildo but I've had this dildo for like, I don't know, 8 months. And it travels with me in my bag, and I drop it…and it still is ticking!

John Douglas:   (Laughing)

Jacklyn Lick:  It's like unbelievable. This dildo has lasted forever. And this is the one I carry in my car.

John Douglas:  Really!

Jacklyn Lick:  Which is like most adult toys have a 3-4% return rate.

John Douglas:  Kind of scared of these companies that have these high return rates. That's got to be fun for the postal guy who returns lose.

Jacklyn Lick:  They got some kid in China making the toys.

John Douglas:   (Laughing)

Jacklyn Lick:  This company, Serenity, pours the molds herself sometimes. It's pretty cool.

John Douglas:  And were she's pouring them from, well you just gotta see that. That's a visual, you don't want to even go there. That's awesome. Well it been great seeing you again.
