Starring: Henri Pachard rarely missed, but this attempt to recharge the "Taboo" series is a botch. Joey Silvera's character Dalton Lee (who played a key part in "Taboo 4, 5 and 6") wanders onto his Aussie brother's ranch and spots his beautiful niece Sunny McKay in tight shorts. This being a Taboo movie, you'd expect Dalton to spend the video slobbering over her. But, no, not this time. The plot revolves around developer Randy West's attempts to snatch the ranch. The sex is secondary and the incest that made the first films in the series so potent is dropped.
Though well-shot on video, Pachard had trouble with his actors. Though McKay is a bright pressence, this Aussie angel delivers her lines, like she's read them for the first time. So does ranch hand Mike Horner and Peter North, who makes a quick, forgettable appearance after fucking Sunny near the film's opening. Michelle Monroe plays the nasty gal of the group who's jealous of the attention Sunny gets from the guys, so she helps West undermine the ranch's operation. Are you excited by any of this? Didn't think so.
Though you could always count on Sunny to light the screen, neither she nor the other actresse bring much heat to the scenes. Only Monroe scores as the bitch.
Sunny's sex scene with Peter North (which does little to advance the plot) generates some heat.
The sex is generally flat and forgotten forlong stretches.
A One of the most disappointing of the series.

Taboo 8 – The Magic is Back

Staring --- Sunny McKay, Michelle Monroe, Mike Horner, Joey Silvera, Cassandra Dark with Rayne, Wendy Waters and Alexandra Quinn. Non-sexual performances by Randy West, Barry McKay and Henri Pachard.
Personal Review
I don’t know what’s so magic about it… I think it’s a serious attempt by director Pachard to make a dramatic, contemporary, western movie. The way too serious, dead pan acting, the weak all-around performances by the Aussie lead lady and lack of substantial sex lowers my rating. On the up side, there is some subtle humor in the script (tuff cowboy spitting in the swimming pool, for example) which successfully lightens it up a bit, plus, good sets and character development with Monroe stealing the show. Also, it’s important to note the fact this is the first Taboo in the series with no incest which makes me ask, ‘What’s taboo about it?’ PR 3
Sex Scene Sequence
1. Riding academy girls undress in the locker room. This happens a couple of times during the movie.
2. Sunny’s (McKay) boyfriend ranch-hand Sweet (North) in the horse barn with another huge cum scene by the man!
3. Cassandra & Michelle in the locker room do the nasty in front of a camera.
4. Uncle Dawton (Silvera) and evil bitch (Michelle) on the office couch. Best scene.
5. Famous rodeo roper Chi Jackson (Horner) and Sunny in bed with less than climatic sex.

I don’t know what’s so magic about it… I think it’s a serious attempt by director Pichard to make a dramatic movie. There is some subtle humor in the script (tuff cowboy spitting in the pool, for example) which successfully lightens it up a bit. The serious acting is good by the men and Monroe, but a weak, corny ending and weak sex causes a low rating. Also, it’s important to note the fact this is the first Taboo with no incest which makes me ask, ‘What’s taboo about it?’ PR 3
