Manuel Ferrara is on a roll. In the past few months he has picked up awards as the top male performer in the adult industry from both AVN and XRCO. He was picked up by Evil Angel as their newest director. His first movie with the new company features something very special. Nici Sterling is back after several years away from the industry. She was one of the hottest stars of the 1990’s and has a number of great Evil Angel titles already under her belt. I’m thrilled to see her back because she always gave a great scene and was the perfect combination of class and sleaze. With this major return in the mix is would be easy to overlook the rest of the cast. Let’s not forget that Manuel’s movie also stars everyone’s favorite butt girl, Naomi, everyone’s favorite everything girl Melissa Lauren and the always enticing Tiffany Rayne.

Melissa is a pretty woman who is up for anything, but her scenes of late have been flat. This time around she seems to have more connect with he co-star as she sucks his cock. James invites his friends into the room with him and Melissa goes after their cocks with the same sense of urgency. Some of the heat drains from the scene as she goes into “cooch for cash” mode. This is a very sexy woman, but when gets that “do whatever you want because I’m on the clock” look in her eyes, all the sexuality drains from the action. Thankfully there is only a taste of this here. Her energy level stays pretty high and she interacts rather than just lying back and letting them fuck her lifeless. There is some good anal and DP footage here and great facials. This scene is shorter than the others and Melissa has genuine heat. If all of them had been this length then I think the overall rating would be considerably higher.
This is a solid movie with some glaring flaws. As an overall piece it’s well worth a look. All of the scenes are too long and that hurts things considerably. I am afraid that Manuel is one of the guys who has fallen in love with running time and it really comes into play during a couple of these scenes. Longer scenes don’t mean better action and I really think that the opener could have been chopped down about fifteen minutes and been much hotter. It doesn’t hurt that Marie Luv scene as much because she has the kind of sexual energy to carry it off. Even in the Nici/Tiffany scene drags a bit. Nici does manage to shine though and I hope we see a lot more of her soon. The finale with Melissa is pretty good as well. In fact it is one of the best scenes she has done in a while. Though I found lots of flaws “Evilution” still comes together nicely and is worth watching for Nici, Tiffany and of course Marie Luv.
