I must give the stars of this movie credit. Most of the movie involved non-sex scenes. Ashlyn Gere very believable as the repressed virgin. Randy Spears was too over the top as the preacher. In fairness, Randy does seem to show a flair for comedy. The rest of the cast was lackluster and left no lasting impression.
The production values were poor. The film was dimly lit and the audio level was low.
Low.
That the movie finally did end. Not the ending. The ending was disappointing and incredibly anticlimatic.
The length. The plot.
Although touted as a throwback to the Golden Age of Erotica, Street Angels is really just an incredibly boring movie with some so-so sex thrown in. Excuse me, the movie is not just boring, it also is incredibly bad. Recommended for couples, this film shouldn't be recommended to a blind man. Don't waste your time, your money or the wear on your VCR. Rating: 1 (only because negative numbers aren't allowed)
