Radio K-Kum DVD Description: "This daffy treat from brings together some of the most exciting yet little known sexual starlets of the era. The plot, such as it is, centers on the wild and wanton antics of the folks behind a radio talk show. The storyline doesn't exactly hold itself to the high standards of 'Newsradio' or 'Frazier,' but then again, neither of those programs features any down and dirty hardcore action, either. What you get is a series of frantic, frenzied couplings featuring some explosively talented tarts. Susan Hart shines in her role, showing off her prodigious curves while romping with all comers in a frantic fiesta of lust. Little-seen Cindy Carver delivers a stellar performance, letting the talk show's host talk her into exploring her innermost sexual fantasies. In fact, the whole cast reads like a 'who's who' of rarely viewed pornsters from the era. Athena Star shows off her supple charms, while spicy Danica Rhae turns heads with a winning and utterly wanton performance. This one is one of the classics of the genre, a radio-booth boff fest that delivers the goods without getting too caught up in extraneous side business."

Starring: Joe Elliot stars as the sleazy DJ who invites listeners to call in to his radio show while they're sexing it up. Just an excuse to witness some sizzling vignettes of early 80's babes Susan Hart, Rose Marie, Cindy Carver, Athena Star, Danica Rhae. Nothing award caliber, but certainly everyone seems to be enjoying thier work.
Basically a radio booth and a bunch of bedrooms. The real problem is the film stock which is very degraded. There is a lot of blurriness and color loss typical of films that have not been well preserved.
Having the actors comment on their fucking on the DJ during the act is a very hot device used throughout the film. There is enough variety in the sex scenes and energetic actresses to keep it fresh.
By far the best scene is the banana scene in the middle of the film. Everyone should study the textbook direction of that scene. Astounding blend of performance, camerawork, editing, and camera placement. It's the only scene that doesn't use the phone-in scenario, so it might have been lifted from another film by another director.
The two threesomes at the end are a little two fast. It's as if they didn't have enough film to do these scenes properly.
Even though it's in serious need of restoration, this plotless early 80's confection deftly entertains with some very good sex sequences and IMHO an all time great sex scene. The brilliant banana scene alone lifts this to a 9.
