Muffy the Vampire Layer DVD Movie Blog

Muffy the Vampire Layer DVD Description: "When a trio of tantalizing young tarts decides to explore the local graveyard, they run into a bit more than they had bargained for in this scorching sexvid. P.J. Sparxx, Lacy Rose and Sunset Thomas play a gang of addle-brained Valley Girls who spend their time reading pulp comics and speculating about vampires. Sunset puts an early end to such thoughts when her boyfriend comes by, and she shoos away the other gals so that she and he can enjoy some fiery fun. Later that night, though, P.J. is still worrying about vampires, so she calls up her gal pals and they troop out to the local graveyard to investigate. Once they arrive, their world is turned upside down when they discover that there are in fact real live vampires living in the crypt! Lacy finds herself mesmerized by one of the studly nightcrawlers and does a sexy dance with him before hooking up in a decidedly debauched dalliance. Meanwhile, Sunset's found a hunky vamp of her own to tryst with. Lacy's encounter gets even wilder once a couple more undead studs show up and treat her to a hypnotic and hot DP blast. The finale finds P.J. in the clinch with leggy redhead Tawny in a Sapphic session to end all. This one's a slightly spooky, always erotic treat, with one of Sunset Thomas' best-ever performances."

Magic's Movie Review (1)

Magic's Rating:  1-5 Star

Starring: Here we go again with a box cover which features a star who is in no way the leading character. The movie star; P. J. Sparxx, Sunset Thomas, Lacy Rose, Tawny, and as for the fellows we have, Steve Drake, Don Fernando, Cal Jammer, Biff Malibu, and Zach Thomas (world's luckiest husband). The performances were fair to poor.

The film was of poor quality, makes me wish I knew what else this director made so as to stay clear of them. All the scenes are shot in an old spooky house and they are all too dark and grainy. The sound isn't quite as bad, but I did find the overall production values too detract from this movie. . . for shame.

As I said above, I hate it when you purchase a movie because your favorite starlet is on the box cover and then you find out that someone else is in the majority of the action. Here we have P. J. on the cover but only in one scene. . . and if that weren't bad enough, it's not even a hetro scene. . . sob!!! Well, my heart is not in this review, but I will give a quick breakdown of the scenes soas to save anybody else who might get caught in this trap. Although, to be fair. The woman who is in most of the action (Sunset) is quite a beautiful woman, so I guess i shouldn't gripe too much. The first scene is with her and her hubby Zach Thomas. The second scene is sort of split (I hate that too) between Lacy Rose first doing Biff Malibu, then Sunset with Steve and then back to Lacy getting the old DP from Cal and Don. The final scene is where I was most disappointed. It's between P. J. and Tawny, two attractive women who should of had a stud thrown into the mix. 'Tis to dream.

I did enjoy the fact that we got to see Sunset in two very nice hetro scenes. She has quite the body. Would it be too much to ask to change places with Zach for a day?

Where do I begin? The movie's production values stink and the fact that P. J. is on the voer, but only in one scene (g/g. . . argh) is upsetting indeed. Plus, there are only really four scenes in the whole flick. . . pretty short in my opinion.

I just couldn't give a rating of zero to anything that P. J. stars in, and thanks to Sunset, I won't rate it a one or two either, but a three is all it gets.
