I finally caved and sought to find out what all the hub-bub was about this film. Yes, it is shot in Hawaii or somewhere with great scenery and yes, Tera Patrick is exquisite eye candy.
Other than that, and as I expected, this is porn made for the non porn savvy, non "ultra" hardcore market. It's safe, "pre-chewed" erotica, ready made for the cable pay per view systems after a few shots are edited into those "blocked" viewpoint versions. You would use this to break in the novice adult film viewer, especially the females, so you won't traumatize them with the gonzo stunts us jaded vets need to shiver our timbers. This atmosphere especially suits Nikki Benz and Lucy Lee. I enjoyed their high gloss treatment. Who is the highly tattooed man at the end with Tera? That was the big climatic ending? Dare I say that my little soldier could have won in a sword fight with that dude - strange choice. I guess with the exotic locale someone thought this would be fitting.
As much as I complain about the bottom scraping of some less woman friendly genres, I would hope this isn't the only alternative. This happy-happy joy-joy setting is mind numbing - it's porno pabulum. Gerber Gonzo. Sanitized Sex. Okay, I'm out of labels - no, one more - stolen from my girl Solveig, it may not be hers, but its where I first heard the term: "Polished Porn". Perfect.
I need some pimples on butts, some stomach pudge, some ugly facial grimaces and grunting, that's just from the women. Where's Monique, or Mila when you need them? I can't go back to the kiddie rides.
