McCallum directs Annette and John Leslie (a legendary pairing or what?). The plot is the very popular in the 70s premise of "Trouble in Marriage-land". This time no one is frigid, don't worry :-). It's just that poor Annette's old mum used to be a prude and imparted on her pretty head that sex is dirty. So a backlash is only natural don't you think? Off goes Annette to a double life of prostitution in the mornings and upper class conformity in the evenings. But John will catch her, not to worry :-).
Heavy on drama and full of Annette this film, though certainly not a 4, is a definite keeper. The quasi-NC "marital rape" between Annette and John just exhudes sexual energy. A classic. Features Kay Parker in a non-sex role.

Personal Review
V stands for Valerie, a trouble lady who has been labeled a whore at an early age, and is awakened to her destiny in life as she slowly leaves her husband for her new profession. An excellent production with a complex story, it also has outstanding acting and sexual situations that are downright kinky which all combines to thoroughly entertain and arouse! Despite the lack of close-up shots, and sustained sex, a solid Annette Haven film from start to finish and Kay Parker’s first appearance on film! PR 5
Sex Scene Sequence
1. Valerie (Annette) masturbates while she talks out loud telling us how some school boys use to hold her down and fuck her and she would have orgasms. She has multiple orgasms while the neighbor man (Scharf) watches while he looks through binoculars and beats off until he cums.
2. At a dinner party, Valerie goes down on Larry (Thomas) while he discusses business over the phone while her husband and guests are in the other room.
3. Helen (Lauren) and Larry have sex while talking about Valerie.
4. During the night, Valerie goes to a porn movie theater and she lets a white man (Pinney) and a black man fondle her before they dick her and they all get thrown out.
5. Then, Valerie walks the streets and is picked up by a sailor (Morrison) and for five dollars she lets him fuck her.
6. Valerie decides to try working at a whorehouse run by a madam (Kay). Her first customer is a drunk, rich guy (Silvera) who passes out after climaxing.
7. The “principal” (Wells), another customer at the whorehouse, is taken care of by three ladies (Desiree, Sandi is Carolyn, Kristine is Wendy).
8. Another customer (Seeman) wants to pay for game playing and pretends Valerie is his mother as he has sex with her.
9. Valerie’s husband Paul (Leslie), can’t take it anymore and forces his wife to have sex with him on the staircase and couch. Afterwards they are both satisfied! One of the all time classic sex scenes!
10. Paul and Valerie go to a sex party and just watch a three couple orgy. (Lisa, Paula & Tracey)
11. Larry visits the whorehouse to surprisingly find who he paid for is his best friend’s wife! Valerie does not want to do it, so he forces the whore to give him his money’s worth!
