Starring: Maria Forsa stars as the country girl that wants to leave the farm and get to the big city. She gives a masterful performance. Harry Reems and Eric Edwards are the two American stars and do a good job. There others are foreign actors/actresses that I do not know. While the film supposedly takes place in Germany, I think it was shot in a Scandanavia area.
There was no date in the credits but I would guess this was made in the mid 1970s. Overall, it was a well shot film. You could tell they had problems with the close-up penetration scenes.
This is a film with a plot. While the sex scenes are not hot, screaming or sweaty, they do have some eroticism. This is especially true for Maria's scenes. She really seems to enjoy the sex and her partner. She does not play or act for the camera. The scenes do not usually end with a cum shot. Most of the time there is no background music, the sound of the two participants bodies clashing. The movie opens with Maria and Eric as two young lovers in a meadwo. This is a short scene. Later that evening, she sneaks off to his apartment and they have a great scene. No oral sex. Just a young woman enjoying herself. She wants to go to Munich, he doesn't so she decides to go by herself. She hitch-hikes a ride with Harry. He takes her to his apartment, where his current girlfriend is not to happy about the new girl. Harry and Maria have some good sex while the girlfriend is in the other room. Harry leaves to visit his night club. When he returns, the girlfriend tries to show him that she is better than Maria. He kicks the old girlfriend out the next morning. He sends Maria out to by some clothes, while one of his club's dancers come over. There scene is average. Maria sees the dancer leaving. She knows that Harry is not a one woman man. Later a woman at the club wants Harry and takes him to the back room. Again, just an average scene. Eventually, Maria realizes what type of man Harry is and returns to the farm.
Maria's performance. This is about as real portrayal of sex that I have seen. While most scenes are shot with the viewer in mind (and that is not a bad thing), this gives the impresssion of seeing real people having real sex.
The lighting on the close-up of the penetrations. Really was a turn off.
This is a If you want to see a good story with some decent sex, this is an excellent choice. If you want to see some hot sex, pass this one by. This would be a good couples film.
