Ah the good old says. When porn was…what am I talking about? 1990 was part of that dead time for porn. The cheapie features still ruled the roost, gonzo was just getting started and a young film maker (yes, FILM) named Andrew Blake was set to put the smut world on its ear with another memorable project that would one day be considered a classic. Blake broke new ground with Night Trips 1 and House of Dreams and then followed up with this film. At a time when most porn was shot on cheap video equipment, he made what could only be called classy art porn. The first Night Trips helped turn Tori Wells into a huge star. While this one didn’t do the same for Paula Price, it helped launch the career of another future Vivid Girl, Racquel Darrian. It also cemented Blake as the king of pretty girl porn.
Paula Price has taken over the Tori Wells role for Night Trips 2. She opens the movie by bringing her still natural tits to her mouth where she can lick the nipples. She launches into a fit of self love that jumps from room to room and takes us from reality to her fantasies faster than you can say “Is this supposed to look so grainy?” We get some flashes of a full sex scene, but mostly this is just to warm us up.
She goes to visit a doctor to discover why she is horny all the time. The doc, played by Randy Spears, is happy to help. They wire her up and monitor her dreams. The choppy flashes of masturbation and pretty girl shots continue as we work our way into her mind. Paula fucks herself in a tub with the handle of a brush, rubs her clit furiously and eventually is joined by Jon Dough. He gently licks her pussy and that seems to driver her mad. Everything is beautiful to this point, but we are fifteen minutes into the movie without an actual sex scene. That kind of ends with a three-way by the pool between Paul and two of her friends. There is a lot of kissing and rubbing, but also a bit of toy play and some 69. It is still more kissing and touching that fucking, but at least it feels somewhat complete.
Watching their subject is too much for Spears and his sexy nurse. (Cheri Taylor) They give in to their suppressed lust and she pops his cock into her mouth. I always loved Cheri. She had a killer body and was MILF before MILF was cool. She also had a way of working her tongue over the head of a cock that was spectacular. This is pretty, it’s kind of edgy and it’s beautifully shot.
Paula finally gets some dick as Eric Price pushes into her. She turns around and puts those beautiful lips around it. She was a great looking woman with incredible deep throat abilities. The slow motion action doesn’t really show off her skills, but we get some great shots of her beautiful eyes. Like all of the scenes in this movie, this one features a lot of slow pussy licking before any fucking can begin. Eric works his hard cock deep into her body, but it’s hard to focus totally on her when there is a really hot girl right behind him. (Bridgette Monroe if I’m not mistaken.) He finishes off with a huge load all over her stomach that she rubs into her chest.
Continue on with the fantasy we get a big orgy sequence that features Bridgette Monroe (Who I have always loved) sharing a cock with Lauren Hall. Yes folks that is Randy West looking down at the girls as they interlock their tongues as the top of his dick. Racquel Darrian and Derrick were in the room, but they leave and end up in a black and white fantasy that has them both in leather. She certainly adds to the eye candy factor of the movie, but now we have to move back and forth between this scene and the three-way happening nearby. Pretty Racquel looks very good working his dick with her tongue, but the highlight material comes when he stands her up for some hot action from behind. He shoots a good load on her face while Randy jerks his down onto the two faces waiting for him.
We return to the world of lesbian love with Tami Monroe getting down on her knees to service Lauren Hall. This black and white scene is vintage Blake. Any still from the action would make an exquisite photo, but in full motion, the overall lack of heat is stunning.
Is she cured? I guess we’ll never know, but they didn’t make a Night Trips 3 so who knows? This movie is kind of a transition for Blake. Night Trips 1 was much easier to follow and focused more on sexual heat. This one is more like the work he has done since. It’s beautifully shot and packed with eye candy from start to finish. Paula is perfect for this movie. She has a beautiful face, an amazing body and manages to add some heat even when the style of the movie is working against her. This is much better as an artistic venture than a stroke flick. Blake underutilizes some major talent here. Bridgette Monroe, Tami Monroe and Racquel all could have done much better, but in Blake’s big picture, they are just beautiful brush strokes to be blended into the larger work. It’s a great movie for couples and still a classic, but a big step down from the first Night Trips flick.

Starring: Raquel, that's all I have to say. The scene with Racquel is HOT! The other actors threw in O. K. performances as well.
Very well done. Would have liked a little more sound out of the actress' mouth, but the high quality camera work and angles made up for that.
