Imagine is a cute little movie with a single idea thoroughly carried out.
Ashlyn is a prude, if not a cold female. In the opening scene Randy West, her husband, shoots models in their advertising studio, getting as risqué as he dares while Ashlyn, the agency’s owner-manager, is watching him. In his actions and comments he makes her worry about her prudishness, and the rest of the movie is her sex-driven subconscious taking over her eye-sight.
She hallucinates each sex scene, including her own. She sees two people in regular work situations and then she sees them engaged in frantic sex in the same location. She sees Peter North fucking a babe at the pop corn wagon in the foyer of their building. She experiences Jon Dough, a major client, laying her out on her own desk, and so on.
The erotic delight of the scenes is that people around them are going on perfectly naturally while the couple is engaged in heavy-duty sex – publicly, as it were, though nobody notices! In the end, of course, she becomes enthusiastic and retains her best client because she has turned super sexy herself.
