With American Idol a huge success (Anyone want to explain that to me?) it only makes sense for porn to take their shots at it. In this feature we watch as a group of competitors try to become the next big sex idol. Most of the girls are fairly well known, but only a few of them are real stars already. Layla Jade would probably be the favorite to win of course. She is a great looking woman who has been among the best performers in the business for years. If any of the other girls want to take the title from her, they are going to have to really come up with something great. It will be interesting to see how Passion Pictures handles the idol aspect of this line. It isn’t a reality show like Platinum tried to do, but a full feature. That could be a lot of fun or it could be a train wreck. Luckily we get to decide for ourselves with Simon, Paula or Randy telling us what they think.
Just moments before the show is about to air, host Dick Smothers is busy on a table fucking a young hottie. I believe that is Julie Robbins getting her pussy sucked. After a really long dialog break (and a lot of inside jokes) we get the next contestant. Layla Jade should probably be given the title without even competing, but at least we get to watch her suck on Herschel Savage’s hard hog. When two male contestants drop out we get to watch two chicks get it on. In an already soft movie, a veggie scene is bound to pretty, but a bit sleepy. It isn’t bad, especially the kissing and good finger play, but in a contest for the next sex idol, a girl better be able to do more than just lick some bush. Though we are certainly looking at pretty girls, the action is a little soft. The toy play is pretty good, but I still think that Layla is far and away the best of the lot so far.
The competition has a surprise ending and without giving too much away, Smothers gets a final sex scene with a hot network executive, Venus. She congratulates him and gives him a quick blowjob. I love the way this woman works the head and the eye contact is great even during this brief oral interlude. Dick lays some wood to her pussy and there are some nice looking shots of the action. This is definitely a couples-friendly boff.
This is a nicely done little feature with a lot of dialog. Most of it is pretty good. I don’t think they played into the whole American Idol thing as much as they could have, but it’s an interesting script anyway. We’re looking at a soft feature with couples-friendly action from start to finish. Layla’s sex scene is by far the best, but the finale is also worth a look. I would look at this movie as an alternative to Vivid or Wicked. It isn’t going to appeal to raincoaters, but the eye candy factor is high and it is nice to see dialog done by performers who can handle it. Other than Layla’s scene there aren’t a lot of great stroke scenes, but it is worth a look if you like this kind of flick.
