I tend to buy the big Productions like this from Private because you can always be guaranteed a certain level of quality in terms of the female talent, the production values, the plot and the hot sex. Other series to look out for by Private include The Pyramid, Tatiana, The Uranus Experiement, The Gladiator, Cleopatra and the Chateau.
I was looking forward to watching the Scottish Loveknot, principally because you don't see a great deal of Porn based in Scotland and having been there myself many times I was curious to see what the film would look like.
Overall, I was left a bit diassapointed. I knew that the female cast would be worth seeing getting boned in every orrifice and I knew that there would be the usual attention given to high production values like costumes and sets, but that was about all I got. Scotland doesn't really have much to offer apart from the cliched stereotypical tourist centric exports that it milks for all it's worth like bagpipes, the Loch Ness Monster, Whisky and Tartan Kilted thugs like William 'Braveheart'Wallace. The premise of the plot is a ancient mythical (and made up) legend of a 'Lady of the Lake' type character stolen straight out of the King Arthur legend. The lady of the lake is played by the sexy, but very un-Scottish looking Jodie Moore (an Australian by birth). The spirit of the lady of the lake returns every hundred years to enjoy the most sexually capable guys available in rememberance of her once great lover and Scottish warrior Robert Mhor (oh please!). A lot of out-door boffing ensues and the standard Private cast of young, natural bodied Eastern European girls get drilled in all holes and end up with plenty of Scottish broth on their faces.
I might be sounding like I'm taking my porn too seriously, and I'm forgetting the real reason for watching fuck-flicks but I think that if you're going to spend as much money on a big production like this then why not do something a bit different or new. At least with the Uranus experiement they did the old Zero gravity pop shots.
I suppose the idea was agood one, and there are some nice girls but there is nothing new here. Private to be fair have been on top of their game for many years and rarely let their huge following of dedicated fans down but I think they could have done better with this one.
Buy it if you want to see porn stars freezing half to death on the side of a cold Scottish hill. If not, any of the other titles I listed are well worth a look.
