Jackie (John Leslie), road manager of the dancers known as 'The Dreams', takes his entourage to the small town of Key City. "As always, before showtime the mood becomes restless and tense, so Maxie coaxes Jackie into getting a 'quick bite' to calm him down. Meanwhile, dancers Jonathan, Joey and Sebastian (Richard Pacheco, Joey Silvera and Randy West respectively) offset their eagerness by meeting and seducing beautiful women. Georgina Spelvin (as Catherine) gives her best performance since 'The Devil in Miss Jones'. Spectacularly featured in possibly her most volcanic-action ever is the lustful Vanessa del Rio, whose anal and oral escapades have to be seen to be believed. Also featured is luscious newcomer Anna Turner as Sherri, the town nymph. 'The Dancers' generates some of the most erotic heat ever displayed in an adult feature."

Starring: Arguably one of the best written and acted films from porn's golden age. Watch it today and you'll be amazed at the depth of the characters and the passion in each of the vignettes. It stars Randy West, Richard Pacheco, and Joey Silvera a male strippers, and John Leslie as their manager. It chronicles their couplings off-stage as each meets a woman who matches their personality and carnal tastes.
Up there with the best work of Anthony Spinelli. It's closer in tone to "Nothing to Hide" than his classic "Talk Dirty to Me. "
Rich. Porn rarely engages you on such an intimate level, whether it's egotistical West and his pairing with ball-of-fire waitress Vanessa Del Rio, or Leslie's warm, full-blooded session with club owner Kay Parker.
The best sequence belongs to Pacheco, who really wants to be an actor, and shy Georgina Spelvin. It's among the most tender and realistic scenes I've ever seen played out in an adult film.
Not much.
A 10. One of the best couples films of its era and a guaranteed lady-pleaser.

Staring --- John Leslie, Richard Pacheco, Randy West, Joey Silvera, Georgina Spelvin, Vanessa Del Rio, Anne Turner, Kay Parker and Mai Lyn. Plus, Aaron Stuart (no sex).
Personal Review
This is a very good couples’ film which has a sentimental, male bonding story that works well, especially, if the guy can get into erotic male dancers. But, I think, this huge production fails to deliver arousing sex. It could be compared to Roommates ’82. Richard and Georgina are the best actors in porn, and here, they give one of their best performances! The other actors do a note worthy job, but the sex direction is below the famous director’s caliber. PR 4
Sex Scene Sequence
1. “The Dreams” arrive in Key City to dance at the North Point Saloon. While the boys are unpacking, their manager Jackie (Leslie), splits off to a bar for a drink, but quickly picks up the bartender (Mai Lyn) and goes upstairs for a quick fuck.
A) Sebastian (West), with a glamour boy image who really is hooked on himself, dances after out of shape Jackie introduces him to the crowd of girls. (no sex)
2. Maxie (Kay), the owner of the club, encourages Jackie in getting something to eat to calm his nerves. They go to her place and fuck.
B) Jonathon (Pacheco), with the boy next door image, dances next. (no sex)
3. While grabbing a bit to eat at a small diner, Sebastian meets the waitress, Frances (Vanessa) who is a dumb Latino with dreams of becoming a star. He acts like he knows a friend in the buisness to get her in bed.
4. Jonathon and Catherine (Georgina) meet in the park, and in the most believable sequence, he picks her up and they go to her place for dinner, and he continues to say the right things to get her in bed.
C) Joey (Silvera), with the bad boy image, dances for the crowd.
5. Joey is picked up on the street by the town nymph, Sherry (Anna), and taken back to her place for sex which is the hottest in the film. Joey cums from her handjob before her husband (Stuart) catches her in bed with another man!
D) Frances, the Latino dancer, auditions for a hard crowd at the bar. (meant to be funny, but it’s hard not to feel sorry for her).
