Danielle is a standout as the whorehouse newcomer who, once taught to give the perfect blowjob, becomes the pride of Annette Haven's brothel. Mike Horner, as a kind-hearted sheriff, joins Jon Martin, Rhonda Jo Petty, and Dorothy Le May in adding heat to what sometimes becomes a by-the-book satire on "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. "
Pretty standard stuff for an early eighties production, with a handul of sets. But the game cast-- especially the girls-- that makes up for the production's limitations.
Surprisingly high. Following the plot of the play, Haven and her gals are generally sweet when they have to be, and willing to be the nasty if the client demands it. That it ends with Horner announcing his love for Haven says a lot about the film's charm and sensibilities.
The girls are so cute and frisky, especially naive Danielle, it's hard not to feel the sexually fires burning. And Haven, as usually, is sumptuous.
It can't escape its roots. At heart, it's still just another take-off, which means you know most of the plot-twists.
One of the better "classics" still around. Give it an 8.

Juan Curves Review
A Memphis whore house is being hounded to close down by the so called moral majority and could succeed if not for the fact that the moral majority are using this fine establishment to get their rocks off just as the parents did and their parents – parents previously. The cathouse is run by Mavis (Annette Haven) like a tight knit family making it a joyful place to work hence a great place to be a customer.
To begin proceedings, Rhonda Jo Petty playing Mavis’s grandmother is recalled in a flashback fucking the piggish Michael Morrison. Porky handles her with his usual rough yet lazy treatment under the pretence of being a man (10th generation redneck is a lot more accurate). He wedges a candle stick up her and she seems to love it. Rhonda is sexy and professional, making it worthwhile to watch despite the poor lighting. The pop shot goes up and all over her face while her head is resting on a pillow.
Porn’s greatest nerd, Mike Horner plays Annette’s most regular customer and personal friend. They play out a very standard pumping scenario while Annette pulls off various facial expressions to turn him on. Thankfully the resident goddess Kay Parker busts in at the end in a skimpy maid outfit and wanks Mike off.
This is followed by an orgy scene which is both notable and funny. Herschel and Jon Martin are some of the town’s most pious abiding citizens who take part in an orgy with Kay Parker, Dorothy Lemay and K.C Williams. It’s a poorly photographed orgy although it’s redeemed by it’s hot participants, the legendary Kay Parker and the super dirty, spunky Dorothy Lemay. Kay’s tits are sucked and rightly worshipped. Dorothy takes an extra pleasure in French kissing Kay over long periods. K.C William’s bunny ears & bow tie also work a treat, helping us to forget that she’s ugly with a huge nose. The outing is also redeemed by the funny evangelical preaching that Herschel and sometimes Jon spout off during penetration. They interpret their great sexual experience to being a holy, spiritually awakening episode and deliver their lines with a commitment and concentration very rarely seen in a stick flick. This is truly porn at it’s most witty and comedy committed.
In between all this, a young innocent travelling blonde shows up at the house looking for a place to stay after a man tried to rape her at the station. The blonde is played by Danielle. She seems to adapt to their lifestyle quickly giving Mavis (Annette Haven) the incentive to teach her how to blow, using Mike Horner as a test subject. Mavis guides her before moving on to eat her out. Danielle is cute in her character, successfully playing the role of a hot young tease. Annette once again didn’t do much for me.
I was delighted to see that Kay was up for the next romp as she recalled back a college romance where she did it for the first time. Her lover is Billy Dee but you can’t really see him as the lighting is very dark. The close ups and dark screen is supposed to represent an intimate experience of early love but in fact it just makes it really difficult to enjoy the sex. The director also makes the ridiculous mistake of making it difficult to even see Kay’s body. She takes it missionary for just about the whole thing. Disappointing to say the least.
The kitty of the litter (Danielle) once again shines in a role play with Joey Silvera. Joey is actually the school’s star quarterback out to gain some love making experience. He starts off by giving her the finalist game ball and then licks her out while his helmet & shoulder pads are still on. They are equally energetic with Danielle looking notably cute riding him.
To finish there are a few flashbacks to earlier scenes with different footage to round out the film under the pretence of new encounters but it’s very obvious. I openly admit that I have history of praising films from this era with rare exception, after all, what’s not to like when people are getting it on in the free love pioneering porn days. This happens to be one of the rare exceptions when I won’t sing praises as it’s poorly directed other than one good joke and the general feeling is that it has dated badly. Not one scene is filmed particularly well., the few good cast choices were nearly wasted and I was not impressed in the least by the leading lady, Annette Haven. Annette is probably the only major star of the industry who I entirely disagree with her popularity. To begin with she lacks big time in the looks department followed by a poor posture and so on. 5 out of 10.
